Synco Lube Multi Purpose Grease PTFE

A forgotten part of 3D printing is often the maintenance that needs to be done. With our Synco Lube Multi Purpose Grease with PTFE you are assured that the 3D printer makes successful prints with smooth movements. This 3D printer lubricant contains PTFE, making it corrosion resistant and protected against wear and friction in bearings and other moving linear parts. Ideal for use with 3D printers due to the many movements it has to make. Synco Lube Multi Purpose Grease can be used on many surfaces, such as rubber, metal, plastic, wood, leather fabrics and other surfaces. It is not anti-bacterial and can be used in the food industry and medical environment, partly due to its H1 rating. This lubricant comes in an 85 gram package and comes with a 3D printed adapter to use with Misumi LMU8 bearings.

Applying Synco Lube Multi Purpose Grease

To apply the lubricant to a ball bearing, it is wise to first place the 3D printed adapter on the packaging. Place the adapter in the ball bearing and small in the packaging until the lubricant comes out of the bearing at the top. Shake the ball bearing back and forth to ensure that no loose balls can be heard. If this is the case, the shaft can be grabbed, inserted into the bearing and moved back and forth to release excess lubricant. This can be removed after which the whole can be disassembled.
